During the 2024 China-Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair, a delegation from Goiás State, Brazil, participated.

Giordano Souza, director general of the Foreign Affairs Office of Goias, granted an interview to journalists from the Great Wall International Communication Center. He stated, "Last year marked the 30th anniversary of the exchange between Hebei province and Goiás State. With Vice Governor Daniel Vieira's visit to Hebei, the relationship between the two sides has become increasingly close. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the official signing of the 'Agreement on Establishing Friendly Relations,' signifying a deepening cooperation between both parties."

"This year, both sides will showcase fruitful cooperation results in the fields of education, ecology, media, and more. In particular, the journalist exchange program between Brazil's Central TV and the Great Wall New Media Group will serve as a bridge for deeper mutual understanding," Giordano Souza remarked. He added, "I believe I will visit Hebei again in the near future, hoping to bring more cooperative projects and keep the flame of friendship burning."

Giordano Souza highlighted that Goiás State is a fantastic destination with abundant natural resources and beautiful scenery, making it a highly popular region. The people of Goiás State eagerly anticipate more Chinese friends sparking an interest in learning about the culture and way of life in Brazil.
