China·Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair kicked off on June 16, 2024 in Langfang, north China's Hebei Province. On the afternoon of June 16, top experts, scholars, and business representatives from the fields of digital economy and cross-border e-commerce at home and abroad attended the World Cross-Border E-Commerce Development Conference. They discussed and exchanged views on topics such as the digitalization, branding, diversification, refinement, and green development trends of cross-border e-commerce.
Martina Johnson, Director of the Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Guyana, stated that most of the members are limited to working within Guyana and have had little exposure to cross-border trade. At the China·Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair, she learnt more about e-commerce and global trade.
"We are trying to enable the women entrepreneurs in our association to offer services or products beyond Guyana," Martina Johnson said.
