Contracts for eight projects with a total investment of 8.02 billion yuan (about $1.10 billion) were signed by Zhangjiakou city at the "China Digital Dam" Zhangjiakou Big Data Industry Matchmaking Conference, which was held on Tuesday in Zhengding, Hebei province.
The conference is part of the ongoing China International Digital Economy Expo (CIDEE) 2023, which kicked off on Wednesday.

At the conference, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economic and Information Technology and the Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province signed a cooperation agreement for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei computing power industry.
This conference was attended by academicians, experts and scholars from higher education institutions, industry association leaders, as well as the leaders of leading digital economy companies and unicorn enterprises in China's digital economy and information technology fields. They provided suggestions and contributions for the development of Zhangjiakou's digital economy.

During the conference, projects such as Zhangjiakou Digital Service Industry Base, Zhangbei County Cloud Computing Industry Base, Huailai County Big Data Base, and Xuanhua District Big Data Industry were introduced and promoted as well.
