花丝镶嵌制作技艺又称细金工艺，是“花丝”和“镶嵌”两种制作技艺的结合，在我国已经有4000余年历史。2008年，河北省大厂回族自治县的花丝镶嵌制作技艺被列入第二批国家级非物质文化遗产名录，并以技艺精细，造型多样，釉彩纯亮著称。
花丝选用金、银、铜为原料，采用掐、填、焊、编织、堆垒等传统技法。镶嵌以挫、锼、捶、闷、打、崩、挤 、镶等技法，将金属片做成托和瓜子型凹槽，再镶以珍珠、宝石。花丝镶嵌工艺历经千百年的传承，凝聚着聪明智慧和艺术创造力。本期《非遗奇遇“冀”》带您感受花丝镶嵌的独特魅力。
Filigree Inlay craftsmanship, also known as fine gold process, is the combination of filigreeing and inlaying. It has a history of more than 4,000 years in China. In 2008, the craft was inscribed into the second list of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage. It is noted for its consummate skills, diversity in shapes and brightness in glaze colors.
Filigreeing uses gold, silver and copper filaments as raw materials and employs such traditional techniques as nipping, filling, welding, weaving and piling. Inlaying uses such techniques as trimming, engraving, sketching, and knocking to make a support and a melon-seed shaped groove and then inlaid with pearls and gemstones. Through thousand years of inheriting, the Filigree Inlay craftsmanship has been crystallized with the wisdom and artistic creativity of the Chinese people.
