Giant drawings created at a large rice paddy in Xushui district, Baoding, Hebei province have attracted visitors looking for a unique sight.

At the Shennong Modern Agricultural Park, there are several patterns in good view, including Nezhan and Chang'e - both Chinese mythological figures.

According to the designer of the rice paddy art, more than 66,000 square meters of land were cultivated, over which more than 50,000 coordinates were then designated via GPS based on pre-designed images. Finally the rice was planted manually in line with the coordinates.

The magnificent view can last from July to October when the rice will be ripe, the designer said.
