Father & son village doctors serve local residents in N China's Hebei

SUNING, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- After retiring as a medic from the army, Nan Hongxing returned to his hometown of Nancaozhuang Village in north China's Hebei Province and became a doctor. By now, the 64-year-old veteran has been serving local villagers as a village doctor for almost 40 years.

In 2013, his son Nan Yangyang, after graduating from Hengshui Health School, made the same choice as his father and returned to Nancaozhuang Village too. Since then, the father and son have been working together to offer health services to over 3,300 residents in Nancaozhuang.
