On the morning of December 24, the "Handan-Shiiazhaung-Europe" and the "Langfang-shijiazhuang-Europe" China Railway Express trains set off from the Shijiazhuang International Land Port for Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, and Moscow, capital of Russia.
Up to the present, the number of routes at the Shijiazhuang International Land Port has been expanded to eight. This is an important measure to stabilize the fundamentals of foreign trade and create new spaces to expand foreign trade. It is also a concrete action to strengthen industrial cooperation among provincial cities and serve the purpose of making Hebei a strong province for port industries and logistics. It will help optimize the pattern of regional logistic resource allocation and promote the coordinated development of regional economy.
It was learned that the first "Handan-Shiiazhaung-Europe" Express train has 50 wagons, carrying 100 TEUs, loaded mainly such export commodities as strollers and graphite electrodes. It will arrive in Tashkent via Horgos port. The "Langfang-shijiazhuang-Europe" train arries 100 TEUs of furniture and home appliances. It is headed for Moscow via the Port of Manzhouli.
As of December 24, 495 China -Europe Railway Express Trains had departed from the shijiazhuang International Land Port, carrying 48,820 TEUs or 483,600 tons of goods, with a value of 10.057 billion yuan, an increase of 150%, 151%, 211% and 163% respectively, with various indicators ranking first among similar international land ports in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
