On July 28th, the opening ceremony of the 31st World University Games took place in Chengdu, Sichuan. Hebei athletes appeared on the competition fields of the Chengdu Universiade. Their presence could be seen at the Equestrian Sports Stadium, the Fenghuangshan Sports Park and the Shuangliu Sports Center. Olympic champion Li Bingjie, Chinese women's basketball center Han Xu, and other outstanding athletes will participate in events such as basketball, swimming, athletics, diving, rhythmic gymnastics, and table tennis.

With the summer of vigour and enthusiasm, young people from all over the world come together in Chengdu to embrace sports and connect with the world. The World University Games is not only a sports event for global youth, but also an important platform for cultural exchange. University athletes from Italy, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Germany, Sweden and many other countries will compete in the Chengdu Universiade.
