The biomedical and health industry has become a new economic growth driver for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Collaborative development in the region must capitalize on its geographical advantages, formulate preferential policies, attract talent and projects, overcome key technical challenges, and facilitate efficient coordination across all aspects of the industry supply chain, said Meng Anming, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Meng believes that Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei are establishing a more reliable and long-term service guarantee mechanism for the biomedical industry, which will further facilitate the high-quality development of the regional economy.
