A second Dallas nurse diagnosed with Ebola has arrived in a specialised hospital isolation unit in Atlanta.

Helicopter footage from local television stations showed 29-year-old Amber Joy Vinson leaving a plane and being helped into an ambulance Wednesday night. A police motorcade escorted the ambulance as it travelled to Emory University Hospital.

Vinson was one of the nurses who cared for Liberian national Thomas Eric Duncan, who died at the Dallas hospital last week after contracting Ebola in his home country.

Another nurse who treated Duncan, Nina Pham, is also being treated for Ebola at the same Dallas hospital she works at.
