| Being one of the four famous temples in Jizhou City, Zhulin Temple is located near Beiguan Village. It is surrounded with water on three sides. Its present name was given by Shantao, one of the “Seven Virtuous Zhulin Talents” and a distinguished official in Jizhou in the Jin Dynasty.
In the northeast of the temple is the Zhenhai Pagoda. Its base is a maze through which you have to go before climbing it. In the northern end of the temple, there is a holiday resort surrounded with water on all sides. Nearby, you can visit Ziwei Mound on which there are pavilions, terraces and springs and under which there are karst Caves.
You can also go to the temple fair in the street nearby, where you can taste some local foods. If it happens to be the fifteenth day of the first Chinese lunar month, you can observe the local “Mice Festival ", which will surely be an eye-opener for you.
